Jason Junkens established Autumn Wind Dojo in 2004. Mr. Junkens started his training in Aikido and Judo under Gary Steward during the fall of 1994 at Oklahoma State University. He continued his study by starting Shadow Mountain Dojo in March of 1997. Mr. Junkens currently studies Aikido, Jodo, and Judo and also continues his self-study of Japanese Feudal History and swordsmanship. Autumn Wind Dojo is a satellite school of Windsong Dojo. It is affiliated with The Kaze Uta Budo Kai under the direction of Shihan Nick Lowry. Mr. Junkens currently holds the rank of Godan (5th Degree) in Aikido, Sandan (3rd Degree) in Judo, Nidan (2nd Degree) in Jodo and is a Level 1 Modern Army Combatives instructor. He is the head instructor for the dojo. Mr. Junkens has a Bachelor's degree in Business from Oklahoma State University and a Master's in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Currently, He is a member of the Army National Guard where he holds the rank of Major. Mr. Junkens is Assistant Professor of Military Science at Northeastern State University's ROTC program. |
