Head Instructor
Jimmy Jones is the head instructor for Shadow Mountain
Dojo. Mr. Jones started his Judo, Aikido, and Jodo
training in 1997 under Gary Steward at Oklahoma State
University. After graduating from OSU, He joined the
instructional staff at Shadow Mountain Dojo in 1998. Mr.
Jones holds the rank of Yondan (4th Degree) in Judo,
Sandan (3rd Degree) in Aikido,Shodan (1st Degree) in
Jodo.
Instructional Staff
Shadow Mountain Dojo is fortunate to have one of the
most advanced instructional staffs in the area. Along with
Mr. Jones, Chuck Rowden assists in the instruction of the
school. Mr. Rowden joined the dojo in 1997 as an Aikido
student and due to his advanced ranking in Judo oversaw
the development of that program. Mr. Rowden holds the
rank of Rokudan (6th Degree) in Judo, and Sandan (3rd
Degree) in Aikido.
Dojo
Originally founded in 1997 by Jason Junkens, the school
was handed over to Jimmy Jones in 2003 and continues
its tradition of excellence in martial arts instruction.
Shadow Mountain Dojo is affiliated with the Kaze Uta Budo
Kai (WindSong Martial Arts Association) under Nick Lowry
Shihan.
